Thank you all for your continued support of our school.  This year's auction has grossed $102,000 to date, and we're still going!  You may have noticed that our traditional "FUND-IN-NEED" did not happen at our live auction event.  Originally we planned for our school's production of Joseph & The Technicolor Dreamcoat to be the recipient of the FUND-IN-NEED.  We now anticipate that this musical will be performed next school year and have pivoted to revise our FUND-IN-NEED for something a little less glamorous but very much necessary.

This year's FUND-IN-NEED will raise funds to cover a myriad of expenses related to upgrading existing systems for our school and students' safety.  Your child's safety along with the safety of our faculty and staff is our highest priority.  Every year we have a robust safety program and look for areas where safety measures might be improved.  Earlier this year we did install very heavy and expensive new doors on the main Elizabeth Street entrance and have upgraded our video monitoring system within and outside of the school.

Our school's goal is to raise $20,000 this year and have 100% class participation!!

Our SAFETY IMPROVEMENT & MAINTENANCE PROJECTS that we endeavour to accomplish over the next few months include:
  • Intercom system for the main school (red) doors (Elizabeth Street) and preschool gate (Diamond Street)
  • Upgrades to the parking lot gate (leading to the school/preschool)
  • Upgrades to the 24th Street gate
  • New gate outside of the Second Grade classroom
  • Annual earthquake supplies for each classroom
  • School alarm system
  • Walkie Talkie system for the entire school
  • New lights installed around the building
  • New speakers in each classroom to help with intercom & bells
  • Live off-site video monitoring system to be able to monitor the school after hours
  • New locks on classroom doors
Your participation in this year's FUND-IN-NEED will allow us to accomplish this list - and other items - for the benefit and safety of all of our students, faculty, and staff.
